Welcome to Team 6.4 Math with Mrs. Grassmeyer!
Greetings!
I'm Mrs. Kris Grassmeyer. I have been blessed to teach 6th grade math at Horizon Middle School since 1998. Even though I'm originally from Wayne, Nebraska, I have lived in Kearney since 1993. I attended UNK for my bachelor's degree in Middle School Education-Math and Science and also for my two Master's degrees.
I am married to Chad Grassmeyer and we have three amazing children, Coleden, Brynn and Ansleigh. When I am not teaching, I love to spend time with my family boating, jet skiing and beaching at Calamus Lake.
In sixth grade math, we will explore ratios, fractions, decimals, geometry, graphing and data analysis. We utilize Eureka curriculum that allows students' understanding of math concepts to reach a higher level.
