Welcome to 7th Grade Geography!
Hello! My name is Jen Palser, and I'm originally from Scottsbluff, Nebraska. I came to Kearney to attend UNK where I earned both my undergraduate and graduate degrees. I have been teaching at Kearney Public Schools since 1998, and have been at Horizon Middle School since 2008. I absolutely love teaching 7th grade.
In Geography we will learn about both the physical features of Earth, as well as the cultures in different regions. We will also spend time learning about government systems and world economies. The students will be doing some writing, and answering questions using primary and secondary sources.
