8th Grade KHS Class Election Information DUE

Current 8th Grade students who are interested in participating in Student Government at KHS next year, Class Elections will be held the week of Monday, April 25.
 
Students wanting to participate must pick up a petition from the front office for either Class Officer positions or Student Council.  The petitions require signatures from 25 students and 5 faculty members who support the nomination of the student running.  
 
In order to be added to the ballot, students must turn in their completed petition, a typed 100-150 word explanation on why they want to be part of student government, and an election poster to Mrs. Grassmeyer or Ms. Moore by 8 AM on Monday, April 25.  No late petitions or posters will be accepted.
 
Posters will be on display around the school April 25 - April 29.  Elections will be held Friday, April 29 during Homeroom.

Class Officer and Student Council positions will be filled equally from representatives from both middle schools.
