Welcome to Horizon Middle School!
Hello! My name is Jana Piper, and I am the Speech-Language Pathologist at Horizon Middle School. I received my Bachelor's Degree from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, my Master's Degree from the University of Nebraska at Kearney, and am an ASHA certified SLP.
In the school setting, I work with students individually, in small groups, and within classroom settings. I am certified to serve students in the areas of language (including receptive, expressive, and pragmatic), articulation, voice, and fluency.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family. We love to visit the mountains, hike, camp, kayak, and bike. I also love reading good books and enjoy spending time outdoors.
