Hello! I am Brandy Tacha. I have been the EL teacher at Horizon since 2014. I was born and raised in Kearney, Go Bearcats! I went to UNK and received my bachelors degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education K-6. Later I attended Concordia University for my Masters in ESL and Reading Specialist. As the EL teacher I get the privilege of working with students from all over the world. These students will be working on becoming proficient in the English Language in the areas of Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking.
I have 3 children, Grace, Jack and Lauren and 2 dogs Carly and Louie. My kids keep me busy with all of their sports and activities. As a family we like to watch movies, play games, go on walks, watch and play sports, and just spend time together.
