As we start the Second Semester, we just wanted to remind parents of a few things.
It is important for everyone to wear a mask during the school day. Please remind your student in the morning to put their mask on before they enter the school building. If a student forgets their mask, we will have them call a parent to bring them one. If a parent is not available to provide their student a mask, the school will provide one and the student will serve a detention. If something happens during the school day and a student needs a replacement mask, they will be provided one.
Friday, January 8th Report Cards were sent home with students. If you didn't receive your student's report card, have your student stop by the Guidance Office to request a new one.
Students are required to wear their IDs on a lanyard during the school day. This is an important safety measure we have in place at Horizon. If a student has lost their ID, it costs $2 for a replacement. They can stop by the front office to request a replacement.
Starting January 12th, we will resume our weekly Study Hall. Study Hall will run Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 3:45-4:45 PM. These are not mandatory, but students are encouraged to attend if they are missing assignments or need extra help.
Due to respiratory concerns, we are not allowed to have any sprays or other scented items at school. This includes spray deodorant, body sprays, perfumes, and essential oils. Please make sure your students are not bringing these items to school.
